Redolent Memories

Sitting alone

with some old memories

I realized, life is a book

Every page

An amalgamation of characters

every fold a nook

Footsteps

some near some far

but the sound resonates

Ink of every color

on the canvas

like a beautiful mermaid

Some stories

we leave behind

and some we cherish

Like the smoke

from the fire

all my worries perish

A shooting star

A broken twig

Dew drops on the petal

Wanderlust in my veins

Imprints on the sand

The cold stir of a metal

I look around

still alone in this melancholy

I realized, life is a book

Every page

An amalgamation of characters

every fold a nook.

I am a nomad at heart who craves for journeys and experiences. Life is too short to stop exploring and the quest to be happy should go on.

    1. That’s so warming and comforting to hear Mona. I hope I am able to maintain the standards and spirits in future too. Thank you so much for the support and appreciation 😊.

I would love to hear from you :)
